RUSH RUNNER

An endless runner built as a fast-paced arcade experience where your goal is simple: run as far as possible while avoiding obstacles and collecting coins. The longer you survive, the faster and more intense the game becomes.

The game takes inspiration from classics like Subway Surfers, featuring increasing speed, obstacles, and power-ups that keep every run exciting. Timing, quick reactions, and smart movement are key to staying alive.

This project focuses on creating a smooth and engaging endless runner experience where every run feels slightly different as the difficulty gradually increases.

CONTROLS

A / D → Move Left / Right
S → Slide
Space → Jump

Mastering movement is essential. Obstacles will appear quickly, so quick reactions and precise timing will help you survive longer runs.

POWER-UPS

During your run, you can collect special power-ups to gain temporary advantages:

Shield → Protects you from one obstacle hit
Super Speed → Boosts your running speed
Flight → Allows you to soar over obstacles and collect coins safely

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Project Runner is an experimental project created to explore how endless runners are designed and built. The goal is to better understand the mechanics behind games like Subway Surfers while recreating similar systems such as:

• Procedurally generated environments
• Increasing difficulty over time
• Responsive player controls
• Power-up mechanics

This project serves as both a learning experience and a creative challenge to see how an endless runner can be developed from the ground up.
